For more information, see Message size and recipient limits in Exchange Server. The default maximum message size is increased to 35 MB (approximately 25 MB due to Base64 encoding). The LinkedReceiveConnector parameter is no longer available. The IsCoexistenceConnector parameter is no longer available. For more information, see Configure Send connectors to proxy outbound mail. You can configure Send connectors to redirect or proxy outbound mail through the Front End Transport service. These are the notable changes to Send connectors in Exchange 2016 or Exchange 2019 compared to Exchange 2010: Send connector changes in Exchange Server On Edge Transport servers, you can only use the Exchange Management Shell. On Mailbox servers, you can create and manage Send connectors in the Exchange admin center or in the Exchange Management Shell. Mail that needs to be delivered by using the Send connector is routed to one of the source servers.

Source servers: Configure the Exchange servers where the Send connector is hosted. Scope: Configures the visibility of the Send connector to other Exchange servers in the organization. Network settings: Configure how the Send connector routes mail: by using DNS or by automatically forward all mail to a smart host.ДЄddress spaces: Configure the destination domains that the Send connector is responsible for.

These are the important settings on Send connectors: These connectors are described in the Implicit Send connectors section. Implicit and invisible Send connectors that are fully aware of the Exchange server topology are available for sending mail to internal Exchange servers. You don't need to configure Send connectors to send mail between Exchange servers in the same Active Directory forest. To enable outbound internet mail flow, you need to create a Send connector, or subscribe an Edge Transport server to your Exchange organization.

If you want your packages picked up at a specific time, for a fee, the Post Office will pick up your shipment within a scheduled 2-hour period.By default, no Send connectors exist for external mail flow when you install Exchange. USPS usually picks up your package on the next delivery day or another designated day.

Package Pickup during regular mail delivery is free regardless of the number of items scheduled for pickup. Save time sending your packages with USPS package pickups. If you drop it in a blue collection box or Post Office lobby mail slot, it will be returned to you. NOTE: If you put a large package in your mailbox for pickup service, the carrier will leave it. You may also use the Post Office Self-Service Kiosk to buy stamps and drop your package in the lobby package slot. If your package is more than one-half inch thick or weighs more than 10 oz and youвЂ™re using postage stamps, you must take it to a Post Office retail counter to send it. Drop it in a blue collection box or Post Office lobby mail slot.Put it in your mailbox for carrier pickup.If your package is less than one-half inch thick and weighs less than 10 oz, you may use postage stamps and do one of the following: You can also purchase a delivery confirmation service such as Certified Mail В® to verify your packageвЂ™s arrival. Special Handling Details Shipping InsuranceДЇor particularly valuable items, you can insure your package for up to $5,000. For example, FRAGILE labels should only be used if you paid the applicable fee for the USPS В® Special Handling-Fragile service at a Post Office location. Match the label to the mail service you buy. Postal labels show mail handlers and carriers the mail service and extra services you purchase. There are several things to consider when choosing a shipping service. Packages can be sent using Priority Mail Express В®, Priority Mail В®, First-Class Package Service-Retailв„ў, USPS Retail Ground В®, and Media Mail В®. NOTE: Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express come with free boxes you can pick up at your Post Office or order online. Tape your box so that it closes flat on all sides and reinforce the flaps with 2-inch wide packing tape.Pack your box to protect your contents and to make sure the box arrives intact. In most cases, packages may not be more than 108 inches in total length and girth.Packages must not weigh more than 70 lbs.Remember, size and weight determine price: TIP: If you're going to use Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express, the boxes come in standard sizes and you can get them at your Post Office в„ў location or order online, free! Order Shipping Supplies If youвЂ™re reusing a box, make sure all old logos, shipping labels, and addresses are covered or blacked out.Use a sturdy box with enough room to add cushioning for fragile items and to prevent items from shifting.
